Teaching at the Elementary School

For my Ed 1010 class, we get to go observe in an elementary and middle school classroom and I fell in love with these kids!! I was also so so very lucky to co-teach with Kenzie and I loved every second of it!! Our teacher was Mrs. Thomas and from the minute we walked in her room; she was the kindest woman. Of course as the kids file in they look at you like you're some form of species, but they quickly fell in love with us. The girls were tied to our hips and the boys were doing flips to show off their manliness. It was so great! At recess we played Sarah Hendersons (my other friend) class and even though we were 2nd grade and they were 3rd, we tied. They all though that was pretty cool! We were able to help teach editing, math, and reading and also went to Art class with them! Just look at those kids! How could you not love them? That night at the basketball game little Emma (my favorite) looked everywhere for me but sadly I had already left. So at the next game she was sure to find me!! I felt so so special :) It also helped me know how much I want to teach, especially 2nd grade. A week later, we took valentines to all of the kids because I just had to see them again! Will I teach someday? I think so :) This experience was just too great to say I don't want to

Adventures with Breckon!!!

 Kate and I like to have fun so what do we do when it's 60 degrees in February? Tandem bike it up! While we were on our joy ride we pass Breckon! And what does he say, "Kim! I was just going to call you. I'm setting up our adventure right now so park the bike and we're going!" Kim NEVER says no to an adventure. So off to Kates we went to park the bike and set off on our adventure. This is not the first adventure i've had with Breckon though. Yes, he just took me to Prom but how does he ask me to prom? He took pics of a few adventures we had and said, "Kim I think it's time for another Adventure. Don't break my heart and go to Junior Prom with me?" We've gone into an abandoned movie theater (Breckon loves the story so if you want to hear it, ask him all about it!), scaled Dixie rock to lands no one has seen before, made friends with Jared at Lazer Mania and yeah we're still friends, and so so much more! We've even got lost in caves before. So why on earth would I turn this adventure down? No sir. We met Breckon down by the Santa Clara River and turns out, he majorly fixed up my cousins tire swing and it was awesome!! Just look at the happiness on our faces in the pic below. I don't know how Breck got the mind he has, but good thing he has it!! I have too much fun with him!! Since then i've been down at least 3 times to just get things out of my mind. Good work Breckon. You're a gem of a man! 

Yes, It's already time for Preference

Preference isn't till March 10th, but asking is seriously madness! I actually should call it War. Girls are intense. If you aren't the first one to ask at least a month early, if that, you wont get the date you want. Case closed. I'm taking the one and only Colby Clark and i'm stoked!! We're going to have so much fun! And of course two of my best friends are going together so I had to document them too :) Kate is going to have so much fun with Breckon! Yeah Preference!! 

Basketball Games!

 We love Basketball!! Period. And I love these girls (above and below)! Yes, they are all of my BEST FRIENDS! I can talk to any of these girls about anything and I never have a dull moment with them. They really are just like my sisters. And I'm so glad I have all of them because since all of my sisters are moved out, they're filling a big hole :) 

Yes my dearest Kenzie!! Now in this pic, I just had to show how much I loved this night. We were both laughing over everything! One of those nights where anything and everything is hilarious even though in reality, it's probably not. I adore McKenzie Jolley (and no Kenz i'm not saying this because i know you're going to read this post :) ). She is the most amazing person out there. She's always been there! Ever since I met her in 7th grade and it's probably one of the greatest things that happened because she makes my day every time I see her! Thanks girly :)

Jr. Prom

 The Saturday after we dropped off Nick, it was the long awaited day; Junior Prom!!! 

Lucky me I got to go with one of my best friends Breckon Lewis! I can honestly say that I have THE most fun when I'm with this kid. He is so dang funny and there is never a dull moment. Ever. For the day date it was pouring rain but don't worry, that didn't stop us! We traveled up to Snow Canyon park and went on a grand hike with some rain dancing. We did get a little lost on the way up there but that's fine cause we got to go to the end of the rainbow! I'm going to go again just because it was one of the greatest things ever. For lunch Breckon when all out! I mean just look at everything in that pic above. He doesn't kid around. The first thing he said when I got in the car was, "We have the best lunch. Just wait!" He was right, we totally did! After lunch and another great dance party, we headed up to the sand dunes and had some great fun!! First we would run and leap of this sand cliff which was super cool. My knees did buckle once so then Kim went rolling down the mountain instead. I'm not going lie, it was pretty dang funny and after my tumble was over, my hair looked exactly like dreads. Who needs a hairdresser when you can have sand do it for free? Not this girl! Once those festives were over, we hurried home, got ready for the dance and went off again. For dinner we went to Pasta Factory which was mighty fine and then to waste some spare time; went mini golfing!!

Now the dance!!! Rugby and Wrestling were gone so there wasn't a lot of people there, but it was still a blast!! We partied hard!! Everyone in our group besides Tiana Truman and James Christiansen left before it was completely over...but not us!! We danced as hard as we could till the very last song and i'm so glad we stayed the whole time! I don't even know if Breckon knows how much I really loved this dance. If i could, i would go back and relive this day over and over again! 

Thanks Breck! You rock my world!

New Years

For real New Years, this great crew here went to Mason's house and played fun games all night long! I honestly was having so much fun I didn't realize it was almost 12...loved it so much!!

For a post New Years celebration, Adams birthday, and Nicks final ho-rah, my family and I went up to my brother-in-law Adam's cabin which I love with all of my heart! It's up in Sundance which is up the mountain from Orem (hometown) and even though there wasn't a lot of snow, it was still SO beautiful! I always love going up there because it's the perfect getaway and I get to spend quality time with my Best Friends in the Whole World!! Below, Addie is 7, Lauren (Lolly) 3, Andrew 5. Can you believe they are already skiing? Holy Moly! I love them!!!

UPAY

 For Mens Week they always put on this little dance called UPAY. It was way back in October (mitzi finally posted the pic) But this fine woman here Mitzi Gates and I didn't want to go with dates, so we went with eachother! It turned out to be kind of lame, but we still made it fun!! 

I love Mitz with all of my heart!!

Fall of Fun

 This girl here, Katelyn Jones, is my fav person ever! She's literally my best friend. Together 24/7-not kidding. We always go on little adventures like the one above and I love them to death. We're never not laughing, which I love doing so it's just great!!!

 Now we ladies above, decided one day after school to go rake random peoples yards for them. I loved every second of it! Raked 4 yards, filled the truck with filled bags, and the people never saw us raking at any of the houses. I felt so good. I absolutely love my friends and service!! Then we had a dance party, soul sesh, homework sesh, pizza party, and topped off the night with going to The Help. Good day!

 This beauty is Aynsley Ovard. The cousin and best friend. I LOVE HER!!!

 I know I had a previous post about Sadies, but I had to post some pics from the Day Date. It was so much fun!! Loved every sec of it!

 This here is Kiel Lambson. One day in Seminary he was asked to carry everyone's backpacks in the class for a good 20 min. He's a champ!! I never really got the point of why he had to do that though?

 Miss Callie Jean Stewart! Yes, I love her too :) of course friends like us like to match (kind of) somedays, especially when it's not planned! Leather jacket, grey jacket underneath and the scarf. Matchy, matchy!!

Nick and Me :) I love you brother!! You rock my world!

 Every year the Gubler side of the fam has a fun party like pictured above. Last year it was ugly sweater and mustache party-this year, Redneck party!! My fam started the tradition which shows how much fun we have when we're together. We all looked completely hideous, but I loved it.

 Three best friends, Three cousins the same age. Lets just say we're triplets :) plus Zack creeping in the pic.

Lastly, I was finally given my Young Womens Award after being finished for 2 months. Bishopric is a little bit slow, but it's okay; i got it! For Night of Excellence Lauren Smith and I read the New Era for a year. I love her. I honestly can say she's like my sister who is my best friend but wont hang out with me cause she's scared my friends dont like her? Typical (my friends love her). But we still play :)

The long awaited day finally arrived and it was SO much fun!!

For the day date, we played the Amazing Race and I'm pretty sure we ran a total of 3 miles, maybe more? My team won. Well actually we didn't, but we should have because another team hid our clues...haha. Real nice :) When we picked them back up after the date, we played a special version of bowling and had dinner in our awesome circus tent-which looked great!! Have you ever rode on a 6 person bike? Well we sure did!! Rode it like champs. Let's just say the fun never ended until 11:59. I couldn't have asked for it to go any better!! Yeah Cirque 'du Sadies!

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend, I escaped up to Orem with Mother Susie and Papa Shan to go through the temple 
with Nick and then help Annie move into her new house!
It was the perfect timing to go. All of the fall colors are everywhere and I could finally wear my jacket that I've wanted to wear since Christmas last year. Not kidding.
I absolutely LOVE my fam...as I've told you plenty of times before.

I also got to visit and go to lunch/dinner (whatever you want to call it) with this fine woman RYLIE ELDER!!  She is honestly one of my Best Friends. No joke. We grew up together and sadly I had to move away :( But thank goodness we've stayed close because I really love her a lot!!!

Trick or Canning!

 This cool guy Riley Gates and I were on the best Trick or Canning team. Everyone else had about 10 people in their group...but not us!

We got 203 cans in two hours. 30 min less than every other group.

Yes, i'm super proud of us. We rocked it!!

Last Football Game

Screaming like no other so i could loose my voice and laughing, dancing, etc. was the best!

 Homecoming Football game was definitely one of the best games all year! 

Our student section was HUGE and so so loud! I wish every game was like that. Seriously!
