Holly Jolly Christmas

We Gublers decided to put our christmas lights up a little early this year. The day after thanksgiving!
Ugly Sweater day is always a day that I look forward to.
I really wouldn't mind if it was ugly sweater day every day!

Okay i'm going to go on a little rant here. Prepare yourself.
About 2 years ago the Lindsey family moved down to Santa Clara and I can't describe how grateful I am that they did. They are like a 2nd family to me. Stefania took me in as her own daughter and Jake and Amanda (aka. Chummy) are like my own siblings. Chummy IS my little sister. I think Heavenly Father sent her to the wrong family! She's the one pictured with me :) I don't know what I'd do with out that girl. She's the yin to my yang, the peanut to my jelly. I am always happy around her and she knows my life. Really. When summer semester starts i'm going to have a real tough time leaving her. I don't think she realized how much I love her!

Sometimes when the guys have "boys nights" we decide to have them too. I'm positive that they thought we were disgusting for dressing up as them. But hey, we're teenagers right?
It's started boys and girls! My first 18 year old bud got his mission call and I am so excited for him! James is the master of everything Apple and everything else! He's really going to be the next Steve Jobs if not better. He leaves to Long Beach, California on April 10, 2013 and sadly won't be walking at graduation with the rest of us. It's still super cool though and i'm so proud to call Elder Christiansen my friend :)

And yet another Cabin trip! On the 23, we ventured back up to Pine Valley to have our ugly sweater christmas party and it was a blast! We definitely weren't dressed appropriately but that didn't stop a snow fight! I was tackled to the ground multiple times by my huge guy friends and they attacked me like I was a deer or something. But it was awesome and I loved every minute of it!!

Christmas morning the kids decided to have a bubble bath and it got a little out of control. I really have never seen a bubble bath so big before!
And after the bath was over, Kimbee the Elf came to town! Mother Susie put together an elf tea party with mini sandwiches, oranges, grapes, drinks, and everything in between. They all loved it and the Elf sure did too!!

Elf on the Shelf. The real deal.

The kids got a mini, mini cooper from their parents and i'm not going to lie. I would've died and went to heaven as a child if I got that!! It was the cutest thing you could ever see!

But the best present of all was talking to Nick!! It was the best!
One thing that I had to do before the snow was gone was sled. And my wish came true! I got to go have the time of my life with two of my greatest friends, McKenzie Jolley and Meghan McKenna and it was a grand time! Pine Valley is a fav of mine. One day I will have a cabin.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Elder Gubler

So my awesome brother has almost been on his mission for a year! How time has zoomed by!
But don't get me wrong, i've missed this guy like CRAZY!!!
There really isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him. Lucky me, I got to talk to him on Christmas and I bawled like a baby almost the whole time. Especially when he bore his testimony in German and started crying himself. Gosh he's the cutest. I might have mentioned this before on the blog, but Nick's best friend Preston Root is also serving in the same mission as him! Cool right? The 2nd pic is of them and I love them both A LOT! Presto is like a second brother to me too so having both of them in the same mish is real cool to me! Nick is doing amazing in the field! He has been a trainer twice, District Leader and was just barley made a Zone Leader in Vienna, Austria. He rocks!

Passau, Germany

Nick's birthday was December 13th so I instagramed this cute pic in honor of him. I have loved him since day one, if you couldn't tell in that pic. He's been the best big brother any girl could ask for!!

I adore that man. Way to go E. Gubs!!

12.12.12

12.12.12. The last of the triple digest days. It's a good thing that my lovely friend Meghan McKenna was born on 12.12 so we could have a 12.12.12 party! And even though it was a school night, we partied at 12.12.12 at 12.12 and let our wish balloons go at 12.12. Fun right?
But what was even more fun is the pure genius of Breckon J. Anthony Lewis. He's the master friend if you ask me and he knows exactly how to make his friends happy! Now he knew Meghan loved tangled so he thought, heck lets get her a lantern for her birthday to let go at 12.12. Little did he know that Taylor Magleby and I too have a deep love for Tangled and not only did he fulfill Megs dream, but ours too!
Breckon is top notch!

Perfect way to spend 12.12.12

a little bit of service

Our great Student Body Pres. Sarah Henderson had the great idea of doing a monthly service project and for November, it was my turn to be in charge. Sadly, I put it all together in a whim because I forgot, but it turned out to be so much fun! We raked and raked while singing, laughing, dancing and having a ball!

Raking leaves is actually a fun task for me so this service was more of a party!
Yeah Exec!!

Falling for Fall

Fall is beautiful. I couldn't get enough of this season and I always wanted to be outside!
If you tried to find me, I was either at the temple or just enjoying nature somewhere around town.
Syd and I went to the temple multiple times a week. Not always to do baptisms but to just enjoy the grounds and write application essays for BYU and BYU Idaho.

I love the temple and I'm so grateful for Syd who always wants to enjoy it with me.

Fall Baseball started and of course we'll go watch :) Aren't my friends cute?

Jeni, Ryan, and Babe Olivia came to town and you can imagine how happy Aunt Kimbee was!! Just look at that face! Oh how I love that baby

Now I can't leave out my adventures with this kid. Brandon is one of my greatest friends and I have a blast with him! It's a good thing we both love adventurous endeavors and the outdoors. We've 4-wheeled, played in the Sand Dunes, tandem biked, scootered, bon fires, had astronomy lessons, you name it! But the picture is of our spontaneous viper ride through Gunlock, to Veyo, up to Pine Valley and back. It was a great time!

November treated me well.

Happy Day!

October

October was a splendid month! It's one of my favorite times of year and I love it! It's the beginning of the holidays and that's when times get real fun!

Our first Hot Chocolate!
Make that our first Pumpkin Steamer from Kneaders which are DELICIOUS!!

Five of my friends signed with their schools for softball, baseball, and basketball.
They are all going to be awesome!

The Annual Gubler pumpkin carving night is always the best!

After waiting for 6 long months, Syd and I were finally able to be minions!!
We received many weird looks as we were two of the few high schoolers that dressed up
but I couldn't break my streak! I've dressed up since pre-school and there was no stopping
us minions!!

Now Sadies was prime. I got to go with the coolest Junior out there Sam Walton and he really is one of my all time, favorite people! Along with his twin Grace of course :) I had so much fun with this guy! We were playing paint activities but Sam decided to start a war instead. He tackled me on the ground and pied me in the face with pink pudding too. You'll see the nasty after shots of us further down.
For dinner we picked up Cafe Rio and ate it on top of Dixie Rock-so much fun!
Sam thought of the great idea of dancing to "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic while we were on top and I couldn't stop laughing. He's great.

See the grossness of us? It only took a few washes to get the paint out of our hair.

Sadies was a BLAST and we had the best group in town. But I had the best date of course :)
